Friday 6th of April, 2007 Session 3: Methods and Tools for Supporting Decision Making - Chair P.Gelleri 9.30 (room 2.12, 2nd floor - O’Rahilly Building, UCC): Patrick Humphreys and Ai Yu (London School of Economics, United Kingdom) – supporting enterprise in the spaces in between what is planned in rapid urban development, followed by the showing a short film on work carried out in locations on the Pearl River Delta (Nanling, Nansha). 10.45: break (Tea / Coffee) 11.00: David Sammon (University College Cork, Ireland) – Devil’s advocate workshop as a vehicle for self-analysis – the case of ERP adoption 11.45: Csaba Csaki (Budapest Univ. Of Technology and Economics, Hungary) – Making (procurement) decisions in a highly regulated environment: a case of spending EU grant support. 12.30: lunch Session 4: Studying Decision Making - Chair D. Sammon 14.00: John McAvoy (University College Cork, Ireland) – Ineffective decision making in the adoption of a software development methodology: the failure to translate decisions into actions. 14.45: Peter Gelleri (Budapest Univ. Business Meeting notes: (a) Membership: Complete list of attendees - Attendee list note: the following researchers have attended their second IFIP 8.3 event at this meeting: Dr. Ferenc Kiss and Dr. József Csicsman (b) publication: All presentations given at this workshop are available on-line (see above) Invitations have been made to send papers for publication in the Journal of Decision Systems Past papers of the task force are being published as a double issue of the Journal of Decision Systems (issue 3&4, 2007) (c) Next meeting: One proposal was made and accepted that the next meeting should take place in China (either in Beijing or Nansha) in April 2008 (second week). (d) Other events: It has been proposed that a session could be organised by task force members as part of the Third International Conference on Human Centred Processes HCP-2008. (contact P.
